On November 1, 2021, the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) UGM, in collaboration with the Directorate of Information Systems and Resources (DSSDI), held a Competency-Based Selection (SKD) for the Recruitment of Permanent Non-Civil Servant Lecturer/Faculty Member of UGM in 2021. Located in the Computer Laboratory of UGM Library, UGM Permanent Lecturer Recruitment Team conducted SKD from 9.00 to 12.00 WIB. Competency-Based Selection is one of several stages in the Recruitment of Permanent Lecturer processes. Given the current condition of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Competency-Based Selection is carried out online through the Zoom Meeting and the Safe Exam Browser App. Around 407 participants are either in the country or abroad, spread within 13 countries carrying out SKD online simultaneously.
The SKD began with the verification stage of participants. Then, participants started the test at 10:00 PM. There were 20 rooms for each participant under the group supervision and technical assistance. The participants were applicants who successfully passed the administrative selection of 756 applicants for Recruitment of Permanent Non-Civil Servant Lecturer of UGM. In 2021, UGM opened 273 formations across 18 faculties and one school. The distribution according to faculty/school is as follow:

The next stage is the Field of Science-Based Selection (SKB). At this stage, applicants will undergo written tests, interviews, and microteaching. Applicants should be able to pass the SKB to complete the recruitment process. (UGM/Rista)
