The Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) UGM has successfully organized Public Relations and Protocol Training, then continues with Competition for Supporting Staff (Tendik) in Faculties and Schools at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). This training results from the collaboration between the HR Directorate and the UGM Public Relations and Protocol Office. The Public Relations and Protocol Training and Competition is divided into three classes based on the interests of the participants, namely the Protocol, Information Services, and News Division. Public Relations and Protocol Training and Competition in the form of delivering material and practice were held for one day offline at the UC UGM Hotel on Tuesday, 28 June 2022, with 81 participants. The events continued with the Public Relations and Protocol Competition in the Multimedia Room on Wednesday, 6 July 2022, with 200 contestants divided into 20 teams.
The Directorate of Human Resources (HR Directorate) UGM, in collaboration with the Center for Innovation and Academic Studies (PIKA) UGM, has successfully held the Training of Improving Skills in Instructional Techniques (PEKERTI) UGM in 2022. PEKERTI training is intended for Lecturers in the (UGM) environment who have successfully passed the Basic Lecturer Training (Latsar) and is open to Lecturers of State and Private Universities throughout Indonesia. The training aims as a form of debriefing for lecturers in understanding and implementing effective learning techniques. The training was carried out in a hybrid manner through the Zoom Meeting platform on the implementation of material presentation for all training participants, as well as offline/face-to-face for UGM Lecturers on the performance of Learning Practices with the SCL/Micro Teaching Method. The implementation of PEKERTI UGM Batch 2 was attended by 70 lecturers divided into UGM Lecturers and Kupang State Agricultural Polytechnic Lecturers. The PEKERTI Batch 2 training was held from 15 to 17, followed by 20 to June 23, 2022.
The Directorate of Human Resources (Directorate of HR) UGM held Training on Official Letter for Supporting Staff at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2022. Training of Official Letter is intended for Supporting Staff (Tendik) at the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The training aims as a form of debriefing for Tendik UGM in understanding and implementing the official document administration within the UGM environment. The training is carried out online through the Zoom Meeting platform. The implementation of the Official Manu Letters Letter Training was attended by 262 Tendik, who were divided into all UGM work units. The training was divided into three batches held on 17 and 20 May, 24 and 27 May, and 31 May and 3 June 2022.
Directorate of Human Resources (Directorate of SDM) UGM has successfully held a Poster Design Training with Powerpoint with the theme “Optimizing Powerpoint for Designing Posters with Attractive and Beautiful Visuals.” Poster Design Training with Microsoft Powerpoint is intended for supporting staff (Tendik) Directorate of SDM. The training aims to meet the needs of the social media supervisor of the DSDM work unit and improve the competence of Tendik within the DSDM. On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the training was held offline in the Sekip Room of the UC Hotel, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The training participants were 35 employees of the Directorate of SDM.
The Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) has held Basic Training (Pelatihan Dasar/Latsar) For Universitas Gadjah Mada Supporting Staff in 2022. Basic Training is a debriefing for UGM new Supporting Staffs (Tenaga Kependidikan) to be a debriefing to achieve and complete UGM’s vision and mission and UGM’s General Policy. Latsar participants received material on education personnel’s ability to solve administrative problems, communication skills, and teamwork.
The Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) has organized Basic Training for Lecturers of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in 2022. Basic Training (Latsar) is a debriefing for new UGM lecturers to adjust to the new paradigm to achieve UGM’s vision and mission. Latsar participants receive material and assistance on career development as lecturers in education, training, and community service.
In the framework of implementing one of UGM’s missions, namely carrying out education, research, and community service and the preservation and development of knowledge that excels and benefits the community, the role of leadership is considered very important. Leadership development is a strategic need of UGM. The leader is a leverage factor, a driver who organizes all the components under his leadership to drive strategy execution, increase success in navigating change, and ultimately optimize organizational performance. Facilitating and encouraging higher effectiveness is necessary to align leaders’ perceptions, especially the implementing literary elements, as soon as possible. Concrete steps begin with the equalization of perception, the unification of understanding of UGM’s challenges and dynamics in the future, and appropriate organizational and functional responses. With this hope, the Academic Leaders Management Programme is expected to form UGM leaders who are competent, productive, and highly committed to the progress of UGM and become leaders who understand and live UGM values to become role models and inspire others.
The Intensive English Course (IEC) is an annual training activity in cooperation between the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM UGM) and the Vocational School English Team ugm followed by education staff (Tendik) in UGM, both from faculty and schools and from directorates and offices located at UGM Headquarters.
To improve compliance with the submission of the State Civil Apparatus Property Report (LHKASN) for Mandatory Reporting (WL) in Gadjah Mada University under the Circular Letter of the Minister of PANRB No. 1 of 2015 on The Obligation to Submit The State Civil Apparatus Property Report (LHKASN) in the Environment of Government Agencies, the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) together with the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology conduct TECHNICAL GUIDANCE ON FILLING AND REPORTING LHKASN through SIHARKA application. This activity took place two days on January 19-20, 2022, divided into five offline sessions and one online session in the Sekip Room of University Club UGM.
The Directorate of Human Resources, in collaboration with the UGM Laboratory Technician Curriculum Team, organizes The Advanced Laboratory Technician Training (Level 3). The Advanced Laboratory Technician Training is held annually for Laboratory Technicians and Educational Laboratory System (PLP) in UGM, following their respective levels and competency areas. Advanced Laboratory Technician Training aims to: improve skills and enhance insights to Laboratory Technicians, hone skills according to the field of laboratory, master the use of laboratory tools and materials, master the operation and maintenance of instruments, compile the Standard Operating Procedure for tool preparation in general, and make research proposals.
