Yogyakarta, September 2024 – In an ongoing effort to build a more meaningful work culture with a focus on balancing emotional and spiritual intelligence, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) successfully held the Webinar on Professional Ethics in the Academic Environment by John Robert Power Human Resources Development Batch 2 for its Supporting Staff (Tendik). This event, held online on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 13:30 to 15:30 WIB, attracted 386 participants from across UGM’s supporting staff. The webinar aimed to enhance stress management skills, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and overall understanding of professional ethics within the academic workplace.

Yogyakarta, August 2024 — In a bid to enhance the professional development of civil servants (Aparatur Sipil Negara, ASN) within Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), the Human Resource Directorate (DSDM) organized a Technical Guidance Session for the preparation of Five-Year Periodic Competency Development Plans (RPK). The session took place on August 20–21, 2024, at the Bulaksumur Room, Gadjah Mada University Club (UC) Hotel, Yogyakarta. This event is a crucial step in supporting ASN as they prepare to submit their RPK inputs, scheduled for August 22–28, 2024.

Yogyakarta, July 12, 2024 — In a continued effort to empower its supporting staff with essential technical skills, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), through its Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM), collaborated with the Vocational School (SV) to deliver the Intermediate Microsoft Excel Training Program. Held from July 9 to 11, 2024, the program was attended by 78 supporting staff members from various UGM units, aiming to enhance their data processing and analysis capabilities to improve workplace efficiency and productivity.

Yogyakarta, June 4, 2024 – In a bid to cultivate the next generation of exceptional leaders, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has launched the “Gadjah Mada Leadership Development Program (GLDP): Effective Team Leadership for Coordinators.” This innovative training initiative, spearheaded by the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM UGM), aims to provide the university’s coordinators with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in leadership roles. Conducted in a hybrid format that combines both synchronous and asynchronous learning methods, the program spans from June 4 to July 5, 2024, and involves 48 coordinators from various departments within UGM.
