To increase the competence of Supporting Staff (Tendik), especially in academic administration services for lecturers, students, and stakeholders, the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) collaborates with the Directorate of Education and Teaching (DPP) UGM has organized the 2022 Academic Service Administration Training for Supporting Staff (Tendik) at UGM. Tendik is required to be professional in providing services to lecturers, students, and other stakeholders. Therefore Tendik must first understand how to manage academic service administration through information technology so that Tendik can significantly contribute to the achievement of national education goals. The 2022 Academic Service Administration Training aims to improve the knowledge and abilities of participants in academic administration management through information systems. In addition, participants will also be able to understand well the information and processes for the promotion of new student admissions, registration, registration, academic information systems, graduation information systems, monitoring, and evaluation, to report academic transactions.
The 2022 Academic Service Administration Training is held online through the Zoom Meeting platform. A total of 303 trainees are Tendik in the position of Academic Manager at UGM. Two batches of training opened simultaneously on October 26, 2022. Directorate HR held Academic Service Administration Training Batch 1 on October 27 and 28, 2022, while Batch 2 on November 1 and 2, 2022. The resource persons for the Academic Services Administration Training for 2022 are experts in the field of academic management, including Dr. Sigit Priyanta, S.Si., M.Kom., who delivered material on the Direction and Policy of Academic Service Administration Management. The following material is Academic Service Management Administration (Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate Programs) which Nur Biyantoro, SE, delivered. In addition, there were other resource persons, including Endang Sulastri, S.Pt., MA, Ph.D., Anindhita Prita Pradiptia, S.Sos., Rochman Diansyah, ST, Suhartanto, S.IP., Bondan Wijanarko, S.IP., M.Sc. One of the participants stated that “the existence of this academic service training is very useful and becomes the basis for implementing business processes according to updated regulations and policies from DPP.” (DSDM/Rista)
