The Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) has organized Basic Training for Lecturers of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in 2022. Basic Training (Latsar) is a debriefing for new UGM lecturers to adjust to the new paradigm to achieve UGM’s vision and mission. Latsar participants receive material and assistance on career development as lecturers in education, training, and community service.
The 2022 UGM Lecturer Training Center opens on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, and will take place online for five days using the Zoom Meeting Application. The Vice-Chancellor officially opened the 2022 Lecturer Latsar UGM for Human Resources and Assets, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Agus Kironoto. The 2022 UGM Lecturer Training Center participants are 120 new lecturers spread across several Faculties and Schools at UGM. The work units with the most participants were 24 participants from the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, 16 participants from the Faculty of Engineering, and 12 participants from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
The lecturers or resource persons in the 2022 UGM Lecturer Final are Vice-Chancellors, Deans, Directors, Heads, and Lecturers/Experts who are competent in their fields. By participating in the 2022 UGM Lecturer Training Center, participants can commit to developing themselves for the advancement of the University. Lecturers are also expected to have excellent academic and research integrity, have motivation and contribution under the UGM Campus Master Plan. In addition, UGM lecturers can understand the General Policy Direction of UGM and actualize UGM values, become innovative lecturers and inspire change, and are skilled in the field of cooperation.
