The Directorate of Planning in collaboration with the Directorate of Human Resources, held the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) Training aimed at supporting the implementation and evaluation of Government Agency Performance Accountability (AKIP) at UGM. The event, which took place offline at the Multimedia Room I, Central Office UGM, 3rd Floor North Wing, was officially opened by the Director of Human Resources (HR) UGM and attended by various officials and participants involved in performance evaluation at UGM.
In his remarks, the Director of Human Resources UGM emphasized the importance of this training as part of efforts to improve accountability and transparency of performance within the university. “With this training, it is hoped that every work unit at UGM can better understand and implement the SAKIP concept comprehensively, thereby driving better and result-oriented performance achievements,” said Prof. Suadi, S.Pi., M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., Director of HR UGM.
The SAKIP training has several main objectives, such as to provide in-depth understanding of the basic concepts of SAKIP, the main components in SAKIP, and effective AKIP evaluation procedures. In addition, this training also aims to strengthen the role of each work unit in supporting the implementation of AKIP at UGM and ensure that all participants have adequate qualifications to carry out AKIP evaluation activities in their respective work units.
The training was attended by Deputy Deans in charge of Faculty/School Performance Planning, Heads of Faculty/School Administrative Offices, the Integrity Zone Team of the UGM Academic Hospital, and the UGM AKIP Evaluation Team 2024. Participants received comprehensive material from competent and experienced speakers, namely the Bureaucratic Reform, Apparatus Accountability and Supervision Team from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN RB), and the Planning Bureau Team from the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).
With this training, UGM hopes to improve the accountability of performance in every work unit, which in turn will have a positive impact on the results of AKIP UGM evaluation in the coming years. This training is also expected to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to become key drivers in the implementation of SAKIP in their respective work units, as well as to foster a better accountability culture within UGM.
