Yogyakarta, August 2024 — As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance digital literacy and drive innovation across its campus, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has successfully launched the Digital Literacy, Culture, and Skills Development Program for Supporting Staff: Cohorts 4 and 5. Organized by the Directorate of Human Resources in collaboration with UGM’s Bureau of Digital Transformation, this program is an integral part of the university’s larger digital transformation strategy aimed at empowering its supporting staff.
A Fully Online Learning Experience
The training program, conducted entirely online, commenced with an official opening on August 8, 2024, and continued through a series of self-paced learning modules and interactive sessions until August 22, 2024, hosted on UGM’s e-learning platform, eLOK. This innovative format allowed participants to engage with the materials flexibly, balancing their professional responsibilities while enhancing their competencies.
Broad Participation and Gender Equity
The program saw enthusiastic participation from 114 supporting staff members across UGM, representing a balanced demographic of 52% women and 48% men. The participants hailed from diverse units, with 54% representing central administrative offices (KPTU) and 46% coming from faculties and schools within the university.

The training content was meticulously designed to address key areas of digital transformation, equipping participants with skills and knowledge critical for thriving in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The curriculum included both synchronous sessions and asynchronous self-paced learning modules, covering the following topics:
