This mission was realized through the Basic Training Program (Latsar) for its newly appointed permanent lecturers, held from June 24–28 and July 2, 2024, using a hybrid format. Sessions were conducted online via Zoom and in person at Hall C, West Concourse of Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM.

This blended learning program, which combined in-person and online sessions, provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in low-code programming—a revolutionary approach to software development that minimizes the need for extensive coding.
Yogyakarta, June 4, 2024 – In a bid to cultivate the next generation of exceptional leaders, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has launched the “Gadjah Mada Leadership Development Program (GLDP): Effective Team Leadership for Coordinators.” This innovative training initiative, spearheaded by the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM UGM), aims to provide the university’s coordinators with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in leadership roles. Conducted in a hybrid format that combines both synchronous and asynchronous learning methods, the program spans from June 4 to July 5, 2024, and involves 48 coordinators from various departments within UGM.
On May 22, 2024, the Directorate of Human Resources at Universitas Gadjah Mada (DSDM UGM), in collaboration with the UGM Vocational School (SV UGM), launched an English Language Training program specifically designed for the university’s administrative staff. This comprehensive training program, conducted both online and offline, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 143 administrative staff members across various departments within UGM.
Twenty Universities Participate in Comprehensive Training on Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling

The event saw participation from representatives of 20 universities across Indonesia, underscoring the urgent and widespread need to address sexual violence within academic settings.

Organized by the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) in collaboration with the Bureau of Digital Transformation (BTD), this program is tailored to equip UGM’s supporting staff with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The event welcomed 103 participants, focusing on fostering digital literacy, culture, and future-ready skills essential for their roles.
Yogyakarta, March 27, 2024 – The Directorate of Human Resources at Universitas Gadjah Mada (DSDM UGM) hosted a landmark webinar titled “Diversity and Inclusion in the Academic Environment.” As the concluding session of the March 2024 Webinar Series, this event aimed to equip staff with the skills to foster an inclusive and equitable environment, thereby enhancing the university’s competitive edge. The online event saw an impressive turnout, with 954 educational staff members participating.
The Directorate of Planning in collaboration with the Directorate of Human Resources, held the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) Training aimed at supporting the implementation and evaluation of Government Agency Performance Accountability (AKIP) at UGM. The event, which took place offline at the Multimedia Room I, Central Office UGM, 3rd Floor North Wing, was officially opened by the Director of Human Resources (HR) UGM and attended by various officials and participants involved in performance evaluation at UGM.
The Directorate of Human Resources at Universitas Gadjah Mada (DSDM UGM) hosted the IT-Based Training of the Academic Administration Management for Postgraduate Programs on January 30th and 31st, 2024. The event took place at the Auditorium on the 5th Floor of the Post Graduate School of UGM. The participants comprised Educational Staff (Tendik) responsible for overseeing the academic administration of postgraduate programs, totaling 147 individuals. The training commenced under the auspices of Dr. Sigit Priyanta, S.Si., M.Kom., the Secretary of the Directorate of Education and Teaching (DPP), who underscored the training’s objective to enhance comprehension and provide updates on the university’s new flagship programs, including initiatives to bolster the enrollment of postgraduate students through fast-track programs.
The Directorate of Human Resources at Universitas Gadjah Mada (DSDM UGM), in collaboration with Bank BNI and the Tax Office (KPP) Pratama Sleman, organized a webinar titled “Personal Financial Management and Socialization of Personal Tax Reporting for UGM Lecturers and Staff in 2024” on Thursday (21/3). Nearly 2000 participants attended the webinar.
